Kibengo Youth Care Activists Welcomes You
Hope Is Where the Heart Is
Kibengo Youth Care Activists at a Glance
Kibengo Youth Care Activists knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. We could see the harsh effects of climate change through droughts and floods, the extinction of species, loss of biodiversity, deforestation, sand mining and poor agricultural practices in the region. We thought about how the next generations will suffer if we do not act and rise up now to make a change. So in 2017, a small group of youths with the same interest at heart, came together and formed Kibengo Youths Care Activists, registered as a Community Based Organization of Youths in the Isingiro District in the Republic of Uganda.
Climate Restoration Awareness in schools, churches and with the greater community in the Republic of Uganda
We believe that the education of our children and the general public regarding matters of climate restoration is of utmost importance. Together, we can work towards securing the livelihoods of our planet and that of future generations. At Kibengo Youth Care Activists, we carry out lectures and provide hands-on education on environmentally-friendly skills such as bee-keeping, which also contribute towards improving the lives of vulnerable members of the community.
Regreening of the bare hills in the Isingiro District
At Kibengo Youth Care Activists, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Through afforestation and reforestation projects, we are relentlessly working towards bringing new life to the bare hills of the Isingiro District. We invite you to learn more and to see ways in which you can lend a hand. Your support will always receive heartfelt appreciation.
Peatlands conservation in the Kagera Region
Peatlands are highly significant to global efforts to combat climate change, as well as in achieving wider sustainable development goals. The peatlands in the Kagera region have been adversely affected by climate change and illegal activities such as sand mining. Our organisation is determined to make a difference on this front; however, we cannot do so without external assistance. We invite you to get in touch with us to see how you can become a part of our mission.
